But I got into an interesting discussion with a multi-generational group of women yesterday, and we debated this question: Would you rather kiss a very attractive member of your own sex, or a very unattractive member of the opposite sex? For example, if you're a woman, would you rather kiss Scarlett Johannsen or Danny DeVito? Men, would you rather kiss Brad Pitt or Margaret Thatcher? Obviously, the specific people involved should be tailored to your own tastes. What we found in the group was that every woman under 30 said she'd rather kiss a pretty woman, and every woman over thirty said she'd rather kiss an unattractive man. I'm curious to see if this holds up through multiple trials, and what the results are for men. Yes, it's an odd conversation - it was prompted by one of the older women overhearing a song that's pretty popular right now by Katy Perry, called "I Kissed a Girl." We talked about the song a LOT. It's probably one of those questions which is meant to "prove" that women are more apt to be bi-sexual than men. The expectation is that more women will say they would rather kiss Scarlett Johansson than Danny DeVito while almost 100% of men would choose to kiss Margaret Thatcher even if she isn't the most attractive woman.

I have never kissed another female on the lips and if I had the choice to make between a beautiful woman and dreadful man, I would pick the dreadful man, providing of course (as sear stated no sores or anything) I think 'like at New years I have kissed several men, but not with any passion. I have been pursued by a few gay females. Those times made me extremely uncomfortable. (I even tried to have contempt for them but could not) I also had a difficult time of saying leave me alone, as the pursuing was very discrete I am one that is nice to everyone and this was the cause. I never ever meant to give any female the impression I was attracted to them. I was beginning to get a complex that maybe everybody could tell by just looking, which I know is impossible. I even asked our best friends when we were out to dinner if I looked like a Lesbian? They of course teased me about my question. I had always had Gay friends, and none of them ever pursued me. Then attraction was explained to me and I understand it all better. While I am very straight, I will admit I was flattered. By your definition, a man that has always dated females by choice, a man who has a job, and a wife, and several children, could one day see Brad Pitt stagger by, and suddenly this formerly heterosexual man is suddenly gay? I admire guys who are chic magnets or who are great in sports, movies, public speaking, radio personalities, comedians, philosophy, etc., because I have somewhat of a desire to want to emulate them to a certain degree while maintaining my own individuality and personality. I tend to be drawn to these types of guys as long as they're not gay...lol. I'm sure there are a lot of great gay guys out there but I'm not wired that way and therefore do not gravitate towards that direction. I'm attracted to natuarally sexy feminine beautiful women. Suddenly? No. He probably has been gay all along, but never decided to come out of the closet. At least where I live, there are more married gay men than single gay men. Most gay men I know are married to women and have children. Anyhow, I don't know if you had a point in asking me for my definition of "gay", but the point of my reply to SS's comment (i.e., that nearly 100% of men would not kiss another man) was that it was completely wrong at worst and grossly exaggerated at best.
