Sammy8 pointed me in this direction as one of the boards he posts at, so I thought I would head on over and check you guys out. I noticed that you have a pretty active politics, et al, section and seeing as I am a politics junky, if it is alright with the board I might join in the fun there. The @Heavy board has been fun so far and I hope those of you who read it are getting as much fun out of my posts as I am out of responding to and reading yours. I probably should have put a little additional intro information about myself in the original post in this thread, but I'll fix that now. I am 41 years old. Male. Married going on 15 years. No children. Have 5 cats (yes my wife and I are the crazy cat people). Love to read all types of literature. Am a former enlisted man who went to OCS, but am out of the service now. I spent most of my adult life as a retail manager for big-box retailers (Toys "R" Us, Staples, Office Depot) and some time as a grocery store manager years ago. Now I am back in school as part of a career change earning a degree in accounting, with a focus on completing the MAcc, sitting for the CPA and eventually attending law school. It took me a while to figure out what I wanted to be when I grew up, but I think I am finally there. ****************** We have to do something.
