Full-Fledged Member Posts: 1 04/07/08 12:24 PM	I've been lurking around here for a day or so. This seems to be a very nice and friendly place, so I will be stopping by here and posting. I was lured over here by Shut Up Pups who I know from The Lost CInephiles board. So anything I do, is his fault. I'm hopelessly addicted to emoticons. I'm the mom of a totally awesome three, he'll be 4 in july, little boy with autism. He's non-verbal, which means he doesn't talk. Although if you learn to listen to him, he can show you the world like you've never seen it before and he really is a gift. I have wird views on religion and politics and most things in general, but as Pups can attest I am completely awesome. So I look forward to meeting everyone and posting over here in addition to my other board. They tried to chase us, but all I can say is, Thank God for polio

We have him in an early intervention program and he has some wonderful teachers, OT's and a speech therapist.
