Oddly enough, using Netscape, I'm unable to post. So now I'm trying IE, and obviously, I can post.
So hi all, hopefully you won't hate me too much.
Moving on to post something substantial somewhere in here ...

Hi there. I've been lurking for a while and figured maybe, just maybe I should post a bit.

Hello hmcclungiii. I'm so glad you joined us.
Netscape doesn't let you post? Bummer. Using MS IE? BUMMER. I've been using Mozilla's FireFox. I'm delighted with it. It's a freebie, can be downloaded (that's how I got it, & I'm on dial-up). But any way you wish is OK w/ me. I see you've already joined us in the other fora. Excellent. Thanks again for joining us. Visit often. Post a lot. |

Hey sear, thanks for the warm welcome!
Yea, it is weird, I can click the Add Reply button, and I can put in a title, but when I click in the message textbox there is just a highlight around it and it doesn't accept any keyboard input. I've got FireFox, use it for MS AdCenter & Google AdWords, but haven't tried it here. Thanks again for the welcome! |

I wish I had some useful insight on the Netscape function. Perhaps someone else will know.
But from my own experience, I should mention the following: From time to time a post that you've composed and tried to enter (transmit) will not transmit successfully. When I was using MS IE (v7 I believe) those posts would simply be lost. If it's a long, & or complicated post that can be exasperating. But w/ Firefox, just hit the back arrow, and the composition re-appears. Then just click the -reply- button again, and the problem is usually solved. For that reason along I won't go back to IE. But you'll know which browser is right for you hmcclungiii. Again, thanks for joining us. |

Thanks sear, I'm not that worried about though, but I do appreciate the attempt at help.
Surprising that Firefox didn't win the browser wars, however. |

"Wow, that does sound kinky" hm "Kinky"! That's Ann, exactly. Kinky kinky kinky. I wouldn't be surprised to see her buzzing about the Internet on a broom (like a witch!). One never knows, do one. |

Similar story w/ my switch from IE to Firefox too R02.
I vastly prefer Firefox. Ironically I got stuck with the MS Vista OS on my computer. They're now out with a "Service Pack". It's got so many problems, they're releasing a new disk chock full of alleged solutions to all the problems the previous disk had. I surfed over to take a look, and MS' Internet site requires that such information only be divulged to MS' IE browser. It's amazingly pathetic. I sincerely believe if MS was one fiftieth the size, Microsoft products would be twice as good. |

How strange. I was just about to jump in and say how much I liked IE, but all of a sudden, mine doesn't work and I've had to switch to Firefox.
I've used IE for years, and it's always worked perfectly for me until now.
Y'all jinxed me!!

Welcome to Firefox Ann.
Regarding winning the browser wars, Microsoft has resources some other browser companies can't match. But IE may (economically) have been on life-support for years. If IE is so great, why does it crash so often? |
