I'd want a woman that remembers most of the same Presidents I do. But it's a thought Sher. Perhaps I'll grade off some land, and build a closet with a house attached to it. |

Just something to hang your shirts and pants on and yes that requires hangers. I always liked to hang up mens shirts, and arrange their closets. Especially
if I brought them in off the clothes line.
I agree with you Ann. We may never know when. I think he's getting mature enough to want to cuddle a special person.

Maybe you just haven't moved in a long time. The reason my closet is so junk free right now is that I moved very recently. When you move around a lot, especially if your moves involve temporary storage, you are forced to throw or give away a bunch of junk that you don't need, so as to avoid paying beaucoup money for storing that junk. You also learn to appreciate the convenience of not accumulating so much junk. What for, if I know I'll end up throwing it away? I can't be bothered to hold frequent garage sales. But then again, it's easy for me, since I'm a minimalist at heart. But in truth, it's my joke, and I don't even get it. --- Sear |

You're exactly right, Sher. In the first 10 or so years that we were married, we moved at least every couple of years. My mother even said she had
learned not to write our address in her address book in pen.
We've lived in this house for 20 years. Who knew people could accumulate so much crap? And I have the age-old problem of keeping clothes that don't fit anymore. I'm always thinking "I love that outfit, and I know I'll get back to that size again some day." I need to get realistic and ruthless!

'SL, run for your life' I have gotten rid of so much stuff, and still more to go. Ann I have 2 20 year old dresses, (out of style) but I like them and just can't
throw them away. (I could throw new away easier) But I have gotten rid of a lot. Some just the dump, other stuff to salvation army, and good will.
Most of my furniture is hand me down! (I would like just once to buy new that I want and like rather than accept the hand me downs to save money.) If it is not hand me down it is bought at second hand stores, but I have got some good and I believe nice wood end tables, for practically nothing. My kitchen is not much, but still my pride and joy. I like to keep it clean, except I keep the oven hidden as much as possible, and I should at least do the refrigerator at least once a week. (I waste more now than I ever have in my life) That does upset me! Before I bought what I wanted but with two not much went to waste. Oh Six |
