Why are we... |

... so concerned about issues such as whether gays should be allowed to marry, and so relatively unconcerned about studying the root causes of the perpetuation
of the worst forms of serial killing?

Because we're lazy, petty and full of our own moral self-importance.

Not to mention ignorant and misguided. Oh and don't forget totally self centered.
I'm in an Eeyore state of mind today. I can't see anything positive about anything. To quote my good, good friend Grace "woe is everything".

I'm not convinced that there truly are any exceptions. We don't seem to be capable of getting anything good done.
I need a dose of Winnie the Pooh, I know.

Eeyore is my all time favorite fiction character. I am annoyed with Disney lately. Seems for the last few years, every Eeyore plush toy depicts the rather
somber fellow with a smile. It was pointed out to me by a friends six year old who immediately determined that the smiling Eeyore was Eeyores evil twin
brother!

What?? Eeyore is gloomy. He never smiles. That is what is so endearing about him.

Aha! There he is -- on top of the doghouse, chasing the Red Baron. He was destined to be a top dog.

Good grief, Charlie Brown! Am I not allowed to post a pic of any other character than Snoopy?
Plus, there is no comparing the two:
See??

Oh, yes. Snoopy is a multi-talented dog. Good to know you're up on such things, Dan.

Carrots, Ducky, carrot - or maybe just the ability to highlight with the mouse.
