A Wyoming legislative committee is recommending that teachers receive no cost of living adjustment next year, because the account that pays for schools is facing a budget deficit. One option is to use money that is automatically put into the common school permanent land fund. Should funds for the school permanent land fund be used to pay for cost of living increases for teachers, or should teachers not receive the increases?
